Had better rooms
7.0Great location close to the train station and subway stop. Our room was on the 16th floor and had a great view over Glasgow. Big bed. Fridge in room. Robes and slipper in room. Room clean
− Have stayed at the Clayton numerous times, and it's normally great, but this room was a let down. The room was small. We paid to upgrade, and it was disappointing how little it was. The thermostat would turn itself off randomly. It went off both nights and sometimes during the day. The shower wouldn't keep an even temperate. It went a little too hot, then cooled, on repeat. Chrome casting wasn't working.
Great hotel for location but could have been a much better experience
5.0Good location and rooms were a good size
− Staff were unorganised and not very helpful. The booking via booking.com added confusion as to paying one room out of the two rooms that we booked to be paid in person however I was under the impression it was automatically paid. We ended up paying both rooms in person in the end but just added to much hassle on arrival
