4.0The room was not clean, the towels were not clean, there was no thermostat. so if you were hot or cold, you couldn't do anything about it. I called over 10 times and still haven't received a response.

2.0We didn't receive instructions to self check in. We called both numbers given and received no response. Finally had to call expedia. We were finally able to enter the room over an hour later. Also, it was not very clean. For dirty, trash not emptied spider webs along baseboard as we entered.
The Great Gatsby Motel is not GREAT!!!

− Booked through booking and it seemed decent. Should have consulted recent Google reviews before committing ourselves. Where to begin?? 1. The “streamlined convenient check-in process” is anything but. You have to call a number for a code. A poor cell connection required repeating the numbers. 2. One small bath towel. No hand towels. No wash clothes. Dirty bath mat. 3. Dirty sheets. We were convinced the sheets were not cleaned. Dirty pillows. 3. No coffee, though there was a coffee machine. No hot beverage cups. 4. The TV required unplugging a few times to get the audio to work. 5. The floors needed vacuuming. 6. A sign indicating “as a gesture of hospitality” the following items were available for purchase, I’m not kidding…bath towel 25$….pillows $25…used coffee maker $50….and a non-existent radio for $50 to name a few. Again, I’m not kidding.
