Lovely cottage in a beautiful location!
10.0We had a lovely week and the hosts were amazing! The location was pretty good for all main towns (within 40 mins at the most but some were a lot closer) and it was so lovely and quiet! The home was very well equipped with things you would need and the basket of tea, coffee and biscuits and a pint of milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. We used the washer/dryer a couple of times during our stay too. We always take a small bag of basic 'cleaning supplies' on holidays like this as we found some places dont leave you with much but we didn't have to use any of it as there was ample things such as washing up liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, loo rolls etc. We took our small dog and there was a box in the utility room with treats, balls, spare lead, bowl and poo bags, again we always bring our own stuff for her on our UK holidays but this was a nice touch if we had forgotten anything.

10.0The cottage was warm, cosy and beautifully decorated. Situated in a quiet spot in beautiful countryside but all our favourite spots in Northumberland were easy to get to.

10.0Had a wonderful stay at Hetton Byrn. Location was remote which we love, 5 miles to the nearest shop and pub, great routes for walking and something to do in every direction. Well placed and great hospitality by owners. Would recommend to anyone with dogs/1 young child. Beautiful place with a lovely homely feel.
