I was given my information advance of arrival, &it was already made up for us ..

− It was too hot for me personally ,more substantial fans possibly needed.

A beautiful little chalet, feels like a home from home and perfect for children who like to be outdoors all the time

The property was very welcoming and had a homely feeling. The property was very clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, sweets for the kids and a dog treat. The beds were extremely comfy and we all had a lovely nights sleep each night. We were a bit anxious after reading some reviews that the property was right by the playing courts and park but this worked out in our favour, we could leave our 5/6 and 13 year old go out and not have to worry about them because they were within eyesight. The beach was very close aswell. I would recommend this property every time over a caravan.

Well equipped, nice decor and lovely location.

− The chalet was not very clean and had a musty smell. There was mold on the blinds, the table mats still had food on them, and the floor needed vacuuming. When I went to use the Henry vacuum provided, it was covered in dust and gave off such a bad smell that I had to put it straight back in the cupboard. Jayne advised us that bedding was not provided despite it being stated on the booking. This was an inconvenience as we didn’t have sheets or covers for double beds to take with us. The double beds were also a bit on the small side and not suitable for my 6ft 2 husband and me to share. On the positive side, Jayne was quick to respond to messages.

A Little Gem in a Typical Parkdean Site.

Overall a well presented lovely little chalet. Very comfy sofa and mattress in main bedroom. Good quality duvet, pillows and furnishing. Plenty of 'home from home' touches and well stocked with everything you need. The kids loved the location by the park and 'mini-estuary beach'. Local area very quaint and close to things to do and explore.

− Felt a little cramped at times. Furthest bedroom was cold and window didn't feel fully sealed. Other main bedroom could do with curtains. Chalet smelled musty. Chalet could use a bit of TLC in places. Fridge with small freezer compartment would be handy. Like all Parkdean sites we've stayed in, Wifi & 5G signal is completely non-existent/unreliable (we even paid for 1 day of Internet through Parkdean and it still didn't work). Wasn't a fan of the Parkdean site/estuary generally, so wouldn't return, but this is no reflection on the Chalet.

Lovely location, park for the kids outside was great

− mould in every room and dog hair all over the beds/ duvet and pillows, hair clogging up the sink and the shower was very dirty.

Good communication. Milk & wine in the fridge. Clean & tidy. Good position especially close to the park for the grandkids. The emergency torches
