Best stay
10.0Everything was amazing. The service at the restaurant was excellent, and the rooms were luxurious. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Fabulous stay!
10.0We had an exceptional stay at the Hotel Indigo Galapagos. We stayed there one night before heading off to dive on a liveaboard. Unfortunately the airline lost my dive bag. I was so distraught and couldn’t reach anyone at the airline to help. Thankfully Skarlet, a front desk manager knew a friend at the airline and they were able to get the scuba bag to me just in time! Juan Carlos, Skarlet and all the staff have been so pleasant and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and super clean. The beds are comfortable. I was really impressed. We will definitely stay here again!
Nice hotel, come with fair expectations
8.0Location is nice, and I’m told this is the nicest hotel in town. Breakfast was good, especially with an espresso. Repairs on the pool and jacuzzi were being done in the middle of the day - I can appreciate how hard it must be to keep things in good condition on a small island. There aren’t too many alternate options but I would only book this hotel again if I could get a much better rate. Fellow travelers talked about great basic hotels for a fraction of the cost.
− I thought it was way over priced for what it is. I would call it a 3 star hotel for 4 star prices. It is clean and had most of what we needed. Breakfast was good, our room was quiet but there was nothing special or extraordinary about it.
High Service and Sea Lions!
10.0A beautiful site overlooking Playa del Oro beach, which is the best site to view playful sea lions in a semi-natural environment. That alone provides hours of entertainment. But it’s the first class service that really makes things shine. Attentive and friendly. Hits well above its weight. The restaurant is truly amazing with fresh food and first class service. The sunset views are second to none. Make sure to take a stroll up and down the oceanfront path (right out the front) to nearby shopping, great eats, and docks that give access to water taxis and day long inter- island cruises. For the more adventurous don’t forget to devote an early morning hike to the Botanical Gardens on the edge of town nearest the hotel. Great snorkeling and tremendous views of both the town and grand vistas making your Galápagos visit a memorable one! Try to get rooms in the front of the hotel. Best both for the sea lions and sunsets! However, you can go to the rooftop for some amazing views no matter where your room is.
Exceeded Expectations
10.0This is a very nice, clean, conveniently located hotel. I took my 16-year old twins here for 4 nights for an end of school year celebration and we stayed in the Kicker Rock suite which was very spacious, comfortable, and offered a panoramic view of the beautiful environment around the hotel. The food was very good and the staff at the hotel were very conscientious and friendly. The hotel felt much more like a boutique hotel than a chain. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating.
