Lovely stay in a beautiful historic building with a spacious room and a very friendly host.
10.0We had a wonderful stay. The room is in a beautiful historic building. The room was spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We would happily stay here again!
We enjoyed the experience of staying in a small Devonshire town with very friendly people.
9.0My sister and I enjoyed the decor and comfort of the room. We were surprised but adapted to the private bath being across the hall and up and down a few steps. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Visiting their cafe in the morning was quite enjoyable and delicious.

10.0Perfect hosts, very friendly. Debbie gave us a detailed route for a drive to see some lovely places in the area. Very peaceful location in a great little town/village. Ideal location for visiting Exmoor and surroundings. Their coffee shop is delightful, Steve makes fantastic coffee
Comfy and spacious room with friendly hosts
10.0Debbie and Steve were so friendly and welcoming. The building is old and quirky. I stayed on a weekend and loved the breakfast coffee and pastry, a lovely surprise! The bed is super comfy and I loved having a bath. It's great to have the kitchenette if you just want to heat up something quickly in the evening.
− I hadn't realised the kitchen is shared. There was no one staying in the other room whilst I was there, so I had it to myself. But something to note as booking.com lists it as a 'private kitchen.'
