8.0We did not meet the staff at all but to be fair we were not there very long. The shared kitchen area was nice and the view off the deck was beautiful. We went for dinner when we got there at the Gunflint lodge and the dinner (and breakfast) were very good! If you want to cook there you can in the shared area but you pretty much need to bring everything as expected. We didn't have any coffee but some friendly people that were staying shared with us. We left in the morning so it was just a quick overnight stay but very glad we stayed.

10.0Quiet retreat, best bed I have slept in except at home. Joey was great to talk with, room was clean and adequate and I liked the shared kitchen, living room, and deck chairs.

10.0The room was very clean. Joey was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was a very relaxing stay, and I loved seeing the northern lights.
