Perfect location right in the centre of the Old town and the tours I booked left from literally across the road, which is great for someone that doesn’t like to rush. The staff Toni, Ivan and Mario were 10/10 …Answered all my questions ( I WhatsApp’d Toni a lot!), literally met me from the shuttle bus and carried my suitcase to the hotel and then Ivan to the Catamaran on the day I needed to leave. Breakfast was amazing and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying there. Definitely value for money and hospitality unmatched.

− Bathroom was small and I was curious about the sink in the bedroom but due to being located in the Old town I can see how the hotel is limited for space and so needing to maximise it.

Hospitality and food at its finest - with a great location and comfortable room.

Everything about this stay was exceptional - but what stands out the most was the hospitality of the staff. We arrived by car, our concierge met us at the parking lot, helped us transport our bags through the town to our room (pointing out important sites along the way), then spent 30+ minutes sitting down with us (over delicious snacks) to review the map and help us plan our stay. Breakfast was also exceptional. The food was delicous, and the service was wonderful yet relaxed -- with the server even joining our children in a game of UNO! We chose to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and this meal was the best meal of our two week vacation. Location can't be beat, it was an easy walk to everything we wanted to see (including a walk to the bus stop that took us to the beach!). Highly recommend this hotel and their wonderful staff.

Hospitalidad excepcional en el corazón de Split

La ubicación es excelente, en pleno casco histórico de Split y a pocos minutos a pie de los principales lugares de interés. La habitación era amplia, muy limpia y confortable, con mucho encanto. Lo mejor fue la atención del personal: nos esperaron a nuestra llegada, fueron a recogernos, llevaron nuestro equipaje caminando hasta el alojamiento y, durante el trayecto, nos fueron explicando la historia y los lugares más importantes de la ciudad. Además, prepararon un desayuno temprano el día de nuestra salida para adaptarse a nuestro horario. Un servicio excepcional que nos hizo sentir muy bien atendidos desde el primer momento.

− Nada importante que destacar. El acceso en coche al centro histórico puede ser algo complejo, pero el personal se encarga de que todo resulte sencillo y sin preocupaciones.

We wish we could have stayed here longer. The location is ideal, being just a short walk to Diocletian’s Palace and Green Market. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, but most importantly, the staff is exceptional. We arrived during a torrential downpour, and two staff met us at the parking area with umbrellas to escort us by van directly to the property. Tony knew we had a short time available to explore, so he showed us on a map the most important places to visit and gave us a short and excellent history lesson. The staff and service were great, and we highly recommended Makarun.
