Déception et séjour sans sommeil

Logement idéalement situé en face du port, à quelques mn à pieds de la gare et du centre ville sans être au coeur de l'agitation. Intérieur propre, agréable et bien équipé. Equipe sur place polie et accueillante. Mais les désagréments viennent de l'extérieur, hélas.

− Je suis venue en basse saison, je cherchais un emplacement au calme. C'est relativement "paisible" vu que c'est la basse saison, mais je ne peux pas affirmer que ce serait pareil en haute saison tant l'appartement est perméable aux nuisances extérieures. Les voisins de l'immeuble d'en face possèdent un chien qui aboie jour et nuit, ce qui fait les nuits sont perpétuellement interrompues. En journée, il y avait aussi des travaux dans le jardin et les bâtiments alentour. L'hébergeur était au courant de la situation mais a prétexté que j'aurais dû signaler le problème pendant mon séjour pour qu'ils puissent intervenir (les équipes sur place m'ont pourtant confirmé qu'ils avaient connaissance du problème qui n'était pourtant pas réglé, dont je n'ai pas été informée en amont, et qui auront rendu le tarif de la prestation finalement démesuré par rapport à la qualité de mon séjour où le repos a été littéralement impossible).

Location was great, loved sitting on the balcony.

− Needs air-con - would put me off booking again in the summer - fans were not effective enough during the night. Very uncomfortable, too hot. You couldn’t use the bed in the living room as no window blinds at the French doors.

Mooi en comfortabel appartement met prachtig uitzicht op het meer.

− Totaal geen parkeergelegenheid nabij. 3 dagen in openbare garage was enige optie, 75 euro extra aftikken, 15 min lopen.

Location, location, location! Very easy access to station and ferry port. Unlike many places in this area access was virtually flat. Wonderful outdoor living (two balconies!) with stunning views and very comfortable apartment with cooking facilities if you wish to cook.

− Be aware there is no air conditioning- just two fans - so it was hot at night, but this didn’t detract from our stay.

Perfect location. It’s not up in the alleys with heaps of stairs. It’s right outside the ferry terminal and restaurants or a quick walk along the water to the other side where there are more restaurants. Beautiful views from the balcony. Staff are friendly when collecting and dropping off keys.

− No aircon. It doesn’t say it includes aircon, so my fault for not checking and assuming. But it was a struggle!!! It was sooo hot at night. They have 2 stand up fans that we put in each room. I recommend this place just due to the location but a downfall is if you go when it’s hot it’s very uncomfortable to sleep as you are so hot and cannot open the windows due to mosquitos and bees
