Subject: Complaint Regarding Stay at Rigside, Douglas Dear [Host’s Name / Airbnb Support], I am writing to raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at Rigside, booked under reservation [insert code] from [insert dates]. Unfortunately, the property fell well below the standards advertised and expected. On arrival, the cleanliness of the accommodation was poor. We found flies trapped in the blinds and the general presentation of the property was not up to standard. Several essential items were missing, including an ironing board, hair dryer, and cutlery. These were either listed as included or should reasonably have been available for guests’ use. Their absence caused significant inconvenience during our stay. Additionally, the comfort and quality of the furnishings were disappointing. The sofa was uncomfortable, and the beds provided little rest, which made our overall experience far from relaxing. Given these issues, I believe Rigside did not meet the standard promised in the listing. I therefore request an appropriate resolution, ideally in the form of a refund or compensation under Airbnb’s Guest Refund Policy. I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter. − The bedding a d towels were clean and the bathroom was clean.

Perfect location as it was near to Clyde falls, Lanark and some decent eateries. I would definitely recommend

Adequate accommodation but tatty & tired.

Quiet

− Single bed was very flimsy. I had to sleep in it as the lightest in our group, due to the potential for breakage. The window in the single room doesn’t fit the frame, resulting in a big draft and wind noise. The gaps also attract insects which I had to clear each night. Decor is tatty with stains and loose wallpaper. For 4 men on a golf trip it was adequate but for families, less so.
