Nice hotel, but stay away from ordering food from the room service.
5.0Breakfast was OK
− I was really disappointed with the food I got when ordering room service. I had chicken fajitas and a Caesar salad with chicken. To my big surprise, it arrived in our room in plastic containers. Normally when ordering food from a hotel, it's served on a proper plate with a knife and fork — here it was plastic all the way. The containers felt warm, but when I opened them, the fajitas were lukewarm and the tortilla was very dry. I was hungry, so I ate it anyway. Unfortunately, I had diarrhea overnight. I'd been in Costa Rica for two weeks, eating out and cooking at our villa, and it was only on the last night, staying at this hotel, that I got sick from the food. I mentioned it to the hotel staff in the morning, but the receptionist didn't seem to care much — just nodded along and asked if the food had tasted bad. I said no, just that it was dry and lukewarm. Then overnight I was in the bathroom several times with diarrhea.
