10.0Breakfast was great. Liked the pretty crystal cups for the water and fruit. Location was excellent for activities at the nearby venues of the Fox and Strand. Loved sitting on the porch swing and being around the pretty area of town and brick streets.
I would recommend The Blissing House to anyone.
9.0When I opened the door of The Blissing House, it felt like stepping back in time. The architecture, design, furnishings and accessories seemed to be from an earlier time. It felt like being in a luxury home from another era. The room with canopied bed was lovely, as was the bathroom, which contains modern facilities. The bed was wonderful as I slept better than I've slept in months. Upon arrival I was greeted by Trevor, who took all my belongings upstairs, which was very kind of him. The breakfast was great as well.
− It would be great if there were an elevator, although that would spoil the ambiance.
I wouldn’t recommend.
6.0This was easy to find and close to downtown and restaurants.
− The old building floors really creaked when you walked and when the toilet flushed. Breakfast was served a half hour late. The scrambled eggs were overdone and the toast was cold.
