10.0An exquisite stay. The best breakfast of our trip so far (local cheese, homemade jams). Rooms are large, immaculate and tasteful. Situated right on the town square, moments from bars and restaurants. Hosts attentive, friendly and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer.

10.0This place is gorgeous. It is done in a very chic style, but also very very comfortable. The host was incredibly warm and kind, and the breakfast was delicious with warm croissants and a wide array of food. I cannot recommend it enough.

10.0La Place B&B Sancerre is the perfect home away from home. I felt totally at ease and so happy in this beautiful and stylish accommodation. Every room is artfully decorated and exudes relaxation. I love how the house, while completely renovated still holds memories of the past. We stayed in room number 5 and it was very spacious with a dreamy huge comfortable bed, a lovely sitting area, and a large, well appointed bathroom. Our host, Ophélie, was so very gracious and a delight to converse with. I adored the breakfast she presented in the cave: lots of delectable choices and so fun to chat with the other travelers there. La Place is located on the town square, within steps of wonderful restaurants, wine tastings, shops, and a fun walking tour around this amazing old town. Find the tourist office a block away where they will set you up with a link to direct you to each historical site. Besides taking in this incredible town and area, a 45-minute drive through the gorgeous countryside got us to Guédelon Castle, a medieval recreation that is super fascinating. It was so nice to come back to La Place B&B and I didn’t want to leave. In fact, it’s one of my all-time favorite places I have ever stayed. Merci beaucoup, Ophélie and Thibault!
