Lovely house, lots of character with plenty of space for a big group. Very well equipped and had lots of glassware and crockery which is so helpful for a big group. The hot tub was a great addition, it was clean and very easy to use. Host was very helpful before our stay and responsive.

− If anything the house was a little too warm at times but we soon sorted that with the thermostat.

Huge and beautiful house, cosy, very clean, staff mostly attentive and definitely friendly. Stunning scenery around. 25 min walk to closest town along a very busy road. Quite far from bath. Quiet despite being on main road. Well maintained and had character - rustic and modern. Everything in very good nick. Bathrooms especially nice. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and pillows provided. Hot tub lovely. Great garden and outdoor facilities including huge table, umbrellas. Cute sheep in the field out back and beautiful location for star gazing! Kitchen has necessary utensils, large pans etc and dishwasher for large groups. Kitchen island. Excellent fridges and cupboards space. Would be good for adults or families. Coffee provided! Bean to pod machine does nicer coffee than most pod machines found in rental properties. Lovely soaps (and ecofriendly). TV, blackboard, large dining table all very useful for our work trip. Company-run and can provide invoices etc

− Problems with no hot water for most of a day. Staff resolved this after some hours but still unfortunate and took a few attempts and delays to correct so there were many cold showers.. One of the bedrooms was very disappointing. Description said 'bedroom 7' has '4 single beds' but this is actually two single beds with a further 2 mattresses on runners, which can be dragged out along the floor.. None of those beds were made - had to retrieve the duvets and pillows from the cupboard or other rooms. The info sent on the day we checked-in described this room as a 'sitting room' with optional beds. This felt a bit deceptive as the info was not consistent from the listing and we picked this property due to the availability of individual beds for a large group. They request minimum £3 fee if you break a glass. Perhaps unnecessary given the cost of the venue, fair wear and tear. Received info a few hours before check-in about requiring 3 days forewarning if you will use the BBQ. Thankfully the BBQ had gas so we could happily go ahead but we definitely received that information late. We could not have given advanced warning. If those facilities are listed in the booking, they should be available to you without special request No hot tub after 9pm due to cleaning cycle

− Directions were not great. Everyone in the party got lost and some arrived 45 mins after their due arrival time. Didn’t take away from the overall event
