Location not bad if you’re doing the tours. Not far from the market. Front desk is knowledgeable. Little boy there loved playing with my son. The scenery looking at the mountains makes the property. Room is dated average 3 stars, not many options for breakfast.

Pool hotel a bit away from the town.

The people running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The pool is a good size, and we found it easy to get a place to sit and gaze at the view, as it's not a busy place. Big room, clean with comfortable beds and hot showers, air con and big TV. It's about 1km from town, but we chose it for this reason as the town isn't that nice. Breakfast was included with a choice of eggs and bread with fresh fruit.

− The pool was a bit dirty after the 4 days, so maybe they should clean it more regularly. It's probably not as nice as the photos on booking.com, but for us it was perfect!

The staff were pleasant and the pool area was pretty.

− Ooof. I hate to leave a bad review but I have to be honest. I'm a backpacker who has been staying in dorms most of the time. I booked this place for New Year's Eve to have some space and a bathroom to myself. This room was so bad for the price I paid ($50) that I almost considered asking if my room was just a bad room and if I could be switched to another. There were small ants around, never visible in big groups but I found them everywhere, wires were coming out of the wall in the bathroom and a ceiling panel was missing. Hot water didn't last long enough to shave my legs and shampoo. No conditioner was provided, even though an empty bottle labeled "conditioner" was on the sink. The shampoo bottle was nearly empty. What made it really bad was that old soap from the previous guest was still in the shower's soap dish when I arrived. That really grossed me out. There's construction in front of the hotel so you will likely see and hear it. I wouldn't complain about the noise personally because it wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for someone. I just wanted a night to relax in a clean environment and I just found myself dealing with it for the night and made plans to move somewhere else asap. I compared the dorms that I had been staying in and regretted moving here. I could have had 5 nights in the dorm I had stayed in for the cost of this one lousy night. The bed was hard, but I actually didn't mind that. The location is more out of the city so expect to walk for 20-30 minutes or take a tuktuk. The foundation of this place is decent but they need to finish the rooms and focus on a nice experience that matches what they seem to be hoping to offer based on the half completed appearance of their hotel. At breakfast they ran out of milk and, when I asked about more the woman apologized and said the stores had closed early the night before due to New Years Eve so they had no back up.

Good little hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

− A little way out of town, 20 minutes walk but made for a quiet, apart from the Thai karaoke.
