Modern, compact and easy booking.

All cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery need a good scrub. We tried hard to clean but there was limited hot water so we boiled kettles to clean. Kitchen things were just not sparkly but we tried to leave it cleaner.

If you like history go here, it's a unique way to learn whilst staying in a genuine Nissan hut.

Nothing!

Step back in time to stay on a WWII POW camp - unforgettable experience

Excellent refurbishment of these huts for self catering. Very comfortable accommodation with a very spacious bedroom at one end and a separate room with living, dining and kitchen area. Decent size throughout and had everything required for a weekend break. Was perfect for us staying with our child. The whole Cultybraggan site is fascinating and I enjoyed learning more about the history of the place. Loads to explore and wander around!

It was mostly perfect in terms of the accommodation itself, the only thing that kind of let it down a bit for me was the lack of interaction from people onsite. Access to the hut is via a key box at the door so no one to welcome you on arrival and info was a bit sparse inside on what to do in the area. I personally found the woman in the onsite museum to be quite rude and unwelcoming on both days that I visited. This let down the experience a bit for me overall as I work in the museum/visitor attraction sector and felt it could be better (a smile and hello costs nothing).

A smart project with potential, but it needs a bit more love

The huts are very nice inside, the place is very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Café 21 served a very tasty breakfast. In general this project is very clever just they need to pay more attention on the details.

I didn’t realize it was more like a campsite, and I don’t have any camping experience. So I didn’t know that I needed to bring my own shower gel, shampoo, or slippers. Plus, Hygiene could be more attentive
