10.0Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your head. All part of the quirkiness of the room as it is an old pub.

10.0A beautiful inn! Although the Library room was smaller than expected, it was incredibly cosy and we enjoyed the stay. The restaurant staff are delightful - so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had dinner one of the nights we stayed and it was lovely (as were the free breakfasts). Great location - so close to the coast and perfect for a mini getaway. Would definitely recommend!

8.0Staff were superb and food was as excellent as always. Bar furniture looks a little dated and could use a deep clean in places, but very comfortable. Bed was superb and the room excellent. The underfloor heating takes ages to warm the room and as it was very cold, it would have been nicer if it had been turned up a while before arrival. Minor points though. Overall extremely good and we will certainly be back.
Good to know
Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access.
