One sentence can’t do this very special place, and its very special owner, justice!
10.0Sacconi Palace Suite is the only place I would stay in Rome for here on. Stefano’s level of care and kindness towards my newly-turned 18 year old son, who was travelling alone in his gap year to see this magnificent city, was over and above anything I have ever experienced in travel. Stefano messaged me personally after my son had checked in to reassure me that he was ok; he supported him with a travel adapter problem by giving him a new one, he offered support to my son during his stay and gave him help whenever he needed it, giving him (and me) his personal number so that he could be contacted any time, from anywhere. For me back home, this was hugely comforting and I wish I could put into words my extreme sense of gratitude to Stefano for this. The location was absolutely perfect- very safe with fabulous, reasonably priced restaurants just around the corner (Nerone’s atmosphere, waiting staff and bolognaise and Ristorante Terme di Diocleziano’s atmosphere, waiting staff and Tiramisu being firm favourites). Termini was walking distance and bus stops to get my son anywhere he wanted to go in Rome were a 3 minute walk away. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Don’t look anywhere else! Just go straight to Sacconi Palace!
