10.0The cabin was well appointed, if there was anything you needed it forgot from home the office got it for you. Staff was really friendly. The cabins/ Talts we’re so clean and so cozy. The only downside is that you could hear a fair amount of car traffic from Highway 61, did not bother my husband or my son. I was just very aware of it.

6.0We enjoyed our stay but there were several things that were not up to the standard I would have expected for what we paid. This was an overpriced stay hiding behind trendy black and red Nordic branding. -They charged a cleaning fee when we checked out. I must’ve missed this when booking but it was an unpleasant surprise, especially for a place that wasn’t very clean. -The latrines up by the tents flushed and had running water but they were always dirty with no paper towels, over flowing trash, and no TP one morning -The matches provided were horrible. They wouldn’t stay lit and it took me ~15 of them to finally get one lit long enough to start the fire. We ended up buying a lighter the next day -The enamel cups provided in the tent were rusty and chipping paint. When I brought them to the lodge for a replacement they got me new ones but not even a “sorry about that!” -Their communication said we needed to arrive by 8:30 pm for a ride to our tent. We arrived at 8 and while the person at the desk was very nice she joked that we were lucky because she usually leaves at 8. I guess we were lucky! -The gas stove provided didn’t work. I’ve used stoves like this a lot in my life so I don’t think I was doing it wrong. The bed was comfy and we had a nice time but this isn’t a luxury experience. For what we paid I was expecting more. Next time we’ll either go camping or stay in a hotel.
