Stunning private villas overlooking the hills. The room was so spacious, quiet and comfortable so we slept well. Nice bathroom. We loved spending time at the restaurant and shared pool area as it had the most stunning view over the beach and cliffs. We could watch the wild coastline while enjoying the restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious.

− The plunge pool was too small and the villa isn’t private enough to have a window where the shower is but there is a blind there. Lots of steps to get to the villas so wouldn’t recommend for those with accessibility needs.

Loved our 3 night stay at Somewhere Lombok. The food was honestly top notch—we ended up eating there most of the time because it was so good! The menu was varied enough that we never got bored, with both Indonesian and Western dishes. On our first night, we had the Indonesian feast, and it ended up being one of our favourite meals of the trip. We'd already spent an evening in Kuta before checking in and felt the restaurant scene at the hotel was easily comparable, so there wasn't much reason to head out for meals. The views from the cliffside are incredible, and one of my favourite little touches was the open-air safari truck they use around the property. It's such a fun way to get around and really lets you take in the landscape. The rooms were beautiful too. They were incredibly well ventilated, so we left the windows open every day, which made the whole place feel really connected to nature. The staff were all warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. Emil was especially responsive and thoughtful, making sure we were well looked after from the moment we arrived. She also gave us great recommendations, including Codium Beach Club nearby, which we really enjoyed. The property itself is effortlessly chic, with beautiful design and thoughtful details throughout. And if Wi-Fi matters to you, this was by far the fastest we experienced anywhere in Lombok. Would definitely stay here again.

The incredible staff who went above and beyond for our young family — especially their flexibility around our 5-month-old's nap times for housekeeping, and their help arranging transport to the resort from the airport and back, as well as when we ventured out. They also provided great recommendations on local events and activities. The views are unmatched, the food is delicious, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. We barely felt the need to leave!

− Nothing that would deter us from returning! If we're being picky, a TV in the room and separate lunch and dinner menus would be a nice bonus — but these are only nice-to-haves, not need-to-haves. The experience more than made up for it.
