Host just canceled right before the check in!

− Worst experience ever! I travel a lot and never had a situation where the host just did not providing correct phone numbers  and then  canceling right before the check in  after we were driving all day to get there!!! We booked a  unit for 2 nights (Dec 30-Jan 1) on their property  ( 37075 Glen Oaks Road, city of Temecula ). I made a reservation 14 days prior, and paid it in full  . Via my booking I message them  my estimate arrival time, numbers of guests  I  received an email confirming my booking and saying I will complete reservation/ check in on property  ( which I thought  is ok since listing says they might  ask for the security deposit and its a multiple units property so usually there is someone like receptionist  on the  property who giving you a tour and unit keys/code). On my way I was trying to call and confirm  my arrival time and how to find the property  BUT NONE OF THE PHONE NUMBERS WERE AVAILABLE ( I also called  phone on their official website laelement.com )   So when we get there we parked, not knowing what to do, then finally I got  a call back and  said they do not have available units At that property and they don't do short term rental and it's a mistake! I told them I checked  availability on my dates  via a few websites  including their official and dates were AVAILABLE !! Anyway I've been told they can't help me and without even a chance to get on the property  me and my dog just end up  with no place to stay,   5 hours drive away from the home and almost impossible  to find any place to stay at 6pm with the same day availability. It also took me a while to get  a refund , which is insane!! They kept ignoring me until the next day and called me next morning I'm glad I printed and saved all booking and text info and also I have  camera in my car with a voice recorder so I have proof of this "travel experience" including all phone calls !
