Lovely rooms, peaceful location & nice atmosphere. 10 mins out of the main Ubud centre but the hotel offer a shuttle taxi service so it’s perfect.

− Not a huge point but the pool was freezing - would have been more usable for us if it was a heated a little.

Peaceful Jungle Luxury

We had an incredible 4-night stay at The Sebali Resort in Ubud in a One-Bedroom Villa with a Private Pool overlooking the jungle and waterfalls. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly peaceful. Waking up to the lush jungle views and the sound of the waterfalls each morning was unforgettable and made for a truly authentic Balinese experience. The à la carte breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great selection of both Asian and Western dishes. Everything was freshly prepared, and it was the perfect way to start each day. One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was the complimentary yoga class. It was possibly the best yoga session I’ve ever done—truly authentic, with a strong focus on mindfulness, breathing, and connecting with the surrounding nature. It was an incredibly calming and memorable experience. What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel at home. If you’re looking for a tranquil luxury escape surrounded by nature with outstanding hospitality, The Sebali Resort is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it and would happily stay here again.

The environment, the jungle, the building. It was very moody. The room was always clean, there were a lot of program options.

− The pool is too cold. We couldn't make use of it because it was too cold, even when it was sunny.

We have been fortunate enough to stay in some wonderful hotels and resorts around the world, but Sebali Resort has set a completely new benchmark. Without question, this is the finest place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The resort is set in an absolutely breathtaking location, surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of Bali, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. Our villa was simply spectacular. Having our own private heated pool made every day feel like a luxury retreat, and the villa itself was beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly have wanted. What truly makes Sebali Resort extraordinary, however, is its people. Every member of staff was warm, genuine, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail and sincere hospitality created an experience that we will never forget. The service throughout the resort is genuinely second to none. Every interaction made us feel valued, cared for, and welcome.
