1.0The location is convenient. The owner let me check in early.
− The price on booking is much higher than on henro house and the henro house price is advertised on information at the ryokan. Be aware the owner will tell you when you can use the shower/bath and that can be awkward and unexpected. The doors do not lock so that is also something to note, especially if you would prefer a locked door. The place smells strongly of mold, which may be normal for a Showa era ryokan but it is extremely pungent. There seemed to only be one toilet for the whole house to share. If these things bother you, I suggest booking across the street at the business hotel - which is around the same price.

Nice to stay in a ryokan on futons. Payment had to be cash and the early check out was prob more suited for pilgrims
7.0Was a lovely old style ryokan.. it was nice comfortable on the futons and our room looked onto a garden
− Only one bathroom and toilet . Early check out time of 8am! We could leave our bags there though. Whilst it says you can pay with cc , we were asked to pay cash, which we had to go to an atm to withdraw.

9.0Très jolie auberge traditionnelle en plus bois avec un bassin à poissons. Bain pour se délasser. C'était très calme et authentique. Tout proche de la gare et de quelques commerces.
