10.0Wonderful spot near Death Valley NP. It's in the middle of nowhere, but you do have everything you need. The bottling room was wonderful to stay at: comfy bed, little kitchen that is well equiped. Loved the shower outside!! Beautiful sundown and night skies!

− Avoid this place at all costs. This was, without question, one of the worst accommodation experiences of my life. We originally booked one night in December 2025. On 2 July 2026, because our road trip had to be reorganised due to the Utah wildfires, I accidentally changed the reservation to two nights. The very next day, I realised my mistake and immediately asked to return to my original one-night booking. For more than two weeks, I repeatedly explained that we would not use the second night. Every single request was refused. As a result, I was charged USD 615 for two caravans, including an extra night that we never used. The accommodation itself was extremely disappointing. The air-conditioning units in both caravans were so incredibly loud that sleeping was almost impossible. We honestly would have had a better night's sleep in our car. The emergency contact number displayed inside the caravan was unreadable. When I finally managed to contact the owner using the Booking.com phone number, instead of helping us, he hung up on me, made a disrespectful comment referring to me as "a French woman", threatened to call the Sheriff, and refused to come to inspect the problem. As I was travelling with my children, I found this behaviour deeply unsettling. What is even more disappointing is that I started trying to resolve the booking issue weeks before our arrival, yet absolutely nobody was willing to help. After our stay, I read many reviews describing very similar experiences, and unfortunately my own experience was entirely consistent with them. The lack of customer service, the refusal to assist guests, the poor condition of the accommodation and the owner's behaviour completely overshadowed our trip. I would strongly recommend choosing any other accommodation in the Death Valley area. This property has been the biggest disappointment of our entire American road trip.
Wow Was für ein Erlebniss !

9.0Staying in a campervan was a dream and it came beautifully true at Tarantula Ranch! I could see the Milky Way with my eyes! The campervan was so cute and cozy and very well equipped for a short stay! 10/10 recommend!
