8.0So peaceful until the neighbours turned up on night three of my 4 night stay. The setting is tranquil and so dog friendly, right near the river and a short walk into the beautiful village of Krkby Lonsdale I could not fault the location. The pods are clean with great facilities and a very comfortable bed. My little dog was treated to a thoughtful welcome pack with treats and toys and spare poop bags. As a busy healthcare professional, until the distances, was able to fully relax which is unusual for me.
− Sadly my visit was cut short by some people in the pod close by who decided to have a party and not abide by the very clear rules of the park about quiet times and respect. This happened on the fourth and final night and so I made the decision to leave early, as a lone traveller I could not have dealt with this alone. After a 5 hours drive home through the night I emailed the park to explain what had happened. Their response was kind, swift and professional and this went some way in alleviating my sadness that my lovely peaceful holiday had been disturbed. I would definitely return here but would book a bigger more separated pod away from the risk of noisy people.
