10.0個室露天風呂
A unique experience in a quiet onsen resort.
10.0The semi-open Air bath and the tranquility environment. Room is spacious and the dining is superb !
− A bit far from the city. But there are shuttle services to the Kanazawa station. If you are looking for serenity, the location is excellent.
Dined and slept like a queen.
10.0My first stay in Japan and it was my second night. The service and quality of it all-blue me away. Thank you for the amazing introduction to Japanese Hospitality.

Cozy, restful and scenic.
10.0Settled in a quiet, beautiful, mountainous neighborhood, we were privileged with an amazing view from our room. The Japanese, tatami-matted flooring was awesome and room was much more spacious than anticipated. The private semi-open air bath stole the show as our prime room feature. Comfortably fits 2 people. The staff were very kind and accommodating, particularly of speaking English. We purchased a half board for dinner each evening and both sets were spectacular. I ate things I never thought I would and it was all unique, autumn-related and delicious! We also reserved a general private, full open air bath on the first floor with a view of the garden. Lovely on a chill evening! There’s not a lot of local things to do but we found an awesome coffee shop with an amazing view and stopped into a fun and comforting restaurant/snack bar nearby. Walking and enjoying the view is the main thing to do. There is a lounge with light beverages, pool table and table tennis available as well. We’d love to come back again for a special event in the future or visit the sister ryokan farther north. Wonderful spot!
− All wonderful!
The staff were incredible and customized with their service. The kaiseki meals were such a highlight of our trip - compl
9.0Everything!
Astonishing food, great service at a so-so property
7.0Clearly what you are paying for at this property is the food and the service. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was plentiful and elaborate. The dinners and breakfasts were carefully prepared with an astonishing variety of fresh dishes, beautifully presented, with kind and attentive service. The property itself was unimpressive. The rooms were extremely clean, but not luxurious (great toiletries, though). The private in-room onsen was aesthetically unappealing but hot and comfortable. (We liked the kimonos.) We were surprised that the gardens and deck outside the lobby glass walls were left un-tended when they could/should have been a focal point of beauty. (The deck was warped plastic decking material, in disrepair, and the garden had plainly been ignored.). The town was pleasant to walk through (Cafe Lente was charming) and there are walking paths through rice paddies and along the river. All in all, this was a relaxing and pleasant experience but very expensive-- worth doing once, but I would not repeat it.
