Good for 1 night stay
7.0We liked the historic feel of the building and property and that it was close to the Asylum. The rooms are reasonably spacious as is the bathroom and the bed was fairly comfortable. Good pressure and hot water in shower. Nice but basic amenities for use. Heating worked well during the cold night. Microwave, kettle and toaster available for use. Check in was easy. May be possibly haunted which was cool as my husband thought he had a tap on his shoulder during the night and i was fast asleep next to him. My other son in a separate room ended up in our room during the night as had odd feeling/experience too. Nothing bad though.
− Pillows were a bit flat. The bathroom could use more of a clean/update as had large amounts of hair still visible in some areas. The grout is mouldy in the shower. The furnishings are older but still ok, I suppose it adds to the characteristic of the historic feel. Sheets were a bit itchy, not sure what from though.
