Good for travelers, great value
8.0The Hacienda is very clean, quiet, convenient, and a great value. The minifridge and ice maker are very helpful when headed out for a camping trip. Those qualities make up for the lack of ambience. We'd stay here again when passing through Alturas, though if we were staying longer we might want a different place.
− Unfortunately, the beds aren't very comfortable. It's not aesthetically pleasing, with exposed cords and unlovely decor in the rooms. But at this rate we don't expect perfection.
Well, I guess you get what you pay for. More or less.

− Showers are extra small. Manager/Owner is lazy and grumpy. No housekeeping seen in 3 days.

The Hacienda is a good deal for a no frills, CLEAN room that's convenient to everything in Alturas.
10.0Breakfast wasn't included, and that was fine. My room was VERY CLEAN, simple and comfortable. The location was very convenient and quiet. The price was reasonable as well. Contact with staff was easy, and my requests were handled very quickly.
− I'm disappointed that the property appears to be for sale. My door was difficult to lock.
