− The dining chairs are the only seats inside, and they are not terribly comfortable.

One night just wasn’t enough at this gorgeous homely hut
10.0Myself and my 5 year old stayed for one night on our way down to Twin Lakes and I can confidently say we will be back, and definitely for longer. The hut is absolutely lovely; so homely and the location is fantastic. Looking out onto the fields, the horses coming up to the fence, hearing the cows - it was just amazing. It was a break I didn’t know I needed and was sad to be leaving after just the night. Tess is just the most incredible host, present but not overbearing. My daughter loved helping with feeding the cows and the added touch of bread and eggs was lovely. The eggs were delicious and we ate so much egg on toast that we didn’t really need to go out but we popped to one of the suggested pubs and it was lovely. The communication beforehand was great, directions made it so easy to find and the hut itself feels really secluded despite being so close to the house. I’m so glad I found this place - it’s one we’ll talk about for a long time!
Comfortable, quirky, fabulous views - great place to spend a romantic weekend away.
