le calme. l'espace des pièces et autour de la maison. les pièces communes sont extra. parking sécurisé. vraiment top, je recommande à 100%

− il faisait un peu froid dans les pièces à vivre. il y a avait des chauffage dans les chambres.

Gostamos muito da casa, da calma que proporciona e da facilidade de chegar a Grândola e à costa. O proprietário foi muito simpático, compreensível e forneceu informações relevantes para explorar a zona. Todos os dias foi fornecido bom pão fresco e na casa existe queijo, manteiga, fiambre, etc. Perto, em Santa Margarida da Serra, existe um restaurante que, infelizmente, não tivemos oportunidade de conhecer. Se tivermos oportunidade, voltaremos.

La casa es perfecta. Con todo lo que necesitas. Perfecta por dentro y buenas indtalaciones exteriores para pasar un buen rato entre amigos. Los detalles de bienvenida, como el desayuno por parte de Filipe(el anfitrion), el bizcocho de la abuela, y el pan a diario en la puerta, ha hecho nuestra estancia aun mas comoda. Gracias a Filipe por todo!!

The staff was really nice and available. The location is good and had lots of space outside.

− The pictures make the house look muck better than it actually is. The house is really dark inside, very few and small windows to the outside. The kitchen is old fashioned, the living room is really poor in furniture and comfort. We didn’t even use it. The bathroom of the main house is also very old fashioned and lacks comfort. The shower floor is not pleasant and seems dirty although it was cleaned. Also , the space outside is actually nice but the pool deck is in really bad shape, so they say is mandatory to use flip flops. Instead they should do annual maintenance so it doesn’t get that bad. Also, the pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. We couldn’t eat outside during the day due to being attacked by bees. It was really impossible. They should have some kind of treatment in the outside area to prevent this. I know that nature is nature, but I have never experienced something like this in any other countryside house.

The Blue House Valley is a lovely place. Felipe our host was a great help, had good recommendations for restaurants, beaches, trips etc. We are a family of 6. Great arrival with lots of goodies from the garden, bubbles and a beautiful (birthday)cake 🎂!! Fridge stocked with breakfast for our stay. Every morning Felipe delivered delicious fresh bread🥖 from the local bakery and hung it on the fence ! He also delivered one time fresh organic veggies from his garden 🫑🥒🍅🍉, so amazing! The house is a typical house in the region. Three bedrooms and one bathroom in the main house and a one bedroom and one bathroom in the small apartment directly adjacent to the house. The small apartment has its own entrance. And there is an extra bathroom with shower and WC directly next to the small apartment. The beds are good, nice and hard, just how we like it :-). The interior is simple and minimalistic, but offering everything you need. We cooked a lot at home, everything you need is in the kitchen…we didn’t use the BBQ, but it is there. The pool area is full on sun and very good to relax, swim, read, sleep and repeat. The Alentejo area is beautiful and not touristic yet! The beaches are amazing and NOT overcrowded! Atlantic Ocean very refreshing! Nice beaches for example: Praia da Costa do Santo Andre with its little beach lounge bar ‘Lagoa o Mar’ with cool DJ or Praia do Fonte Corico (keep going on the sandy road, the beach will come ;-)). Sines, Comporta and Melides are nice places to visit. But also Grandola is sweet. Best coffee and brunch in Grandola: Morena Coffee shop in the library in a cool architectural building. You need a car to get around. All in all we had a great 10 days, would have loved to stay longer. Thank you Felipe and Team!
