Beautiful birdsong and a comfy bed but quite pricey otherwise
6.0Beautiful field for camping with amazing birdsong, comfortable mattress and bedding
− Communal loos, showers and kitchen not cleaned regularly (possibly once every 24 hours if that) so not so nice if fellow guests don’t keep things so clean I was contacted directly by WhatsApp and email by the property which some might not mind but I found quite intrusive and have never come across via Booking.com before. Lack of this direct messaging is one of Booking.com’s features that I appreciate and I didn’t realise this can even happen. Their approach also made if hard to keep track of the quite extensive information that was provided before the stay as it was across different mediums When I booked it was for a bell tent with corresponding photos but about a month or more later, a day or so prior to arrival, I was told I’d booked an army tent!
Lovely, welcoming and relaxing
10.0Cozy comfy safari tents, facilities were immaculate, we had fresh bread on arrival which was delicious and as much tea and coffee as we could wish for! Staff were amazing and getting to see the animals on the farm completed our stay. Smiles all around and we’ve already booked our next stay!
Very disappointing
3.0The man who checked us in was lovely and the farm itself was really picturesque.
− The tent was advertised as having beds, wardrobe, complimentary toiletries, free wifi, an on-site restaurant and a bar - the beds were on wood slats on the floor so really uncomfortable, there was no wardrobe, just communal shower gel in shower, no wifi in tent, restaurant was closed and bar was closed. There was no hot water in sink only kitchen and shower so my husband had to shave in the kitchen with no mirror and not nice for other guests. Due to the lack of sleep we had to leave after the second night but were refused any refund. I recognise that this was glamping but in the past I have stayed in a glamping tent and had proper beds and good facilities and the listing made it sound like this was the same.
Warning: Bell tents have been switched for normal tents!!
3.0It was clean and facilities were good overall
− We booked bell tents and turned up and the bell tents had been replaced by normal tents. We had booked bell tents so that we could experience staying in bell tents but they just switched them to these army-style green tents and didn’t tell anyone about it. Everyone staying in the field had the same complaints. If I wanted to stay in a normal tent, I’d have just brought my own tent and stayed in a field for 3 nights for a 10th of the cost I spoke to the owner and they said the new tents were an “upgrade” which I can confirm that they are definitely not - switching a bell tent for a normal army-style tent is not an upgrade at all. Feel like we’ve been ripped off and it ruined the weekend. I’ll be doing a formal complaint to booking.com as we didn’t receive what was advertised
le calme en pleine nature
8.0le système des tentes et sympa, avec de bons lit chauffant, un belle espaces a l'intérieur. les douches et les toilettes sont pratique dans un autre bâtiment. l'endroit est très calme et reposant.
