4.0− I would highly recommend not staying at this accommodation if it stays the way it is. For the price, you would expect basic levels of cleanliness which we felt this place was really lacking.
Magical
10.0This was a lovely quiet standalone room tucked into native bush. absolute quiet ~ and stars. Ian was very hospitable, provideing excellent pizzas for dinner and l bread and eggs for a ovely fresh breakfast. A great place to stop on the Queen Charlotte Walk

− Don't underestimate the walk down the hill from the ridge, like the info says, seems neverending!!

10.0Beautiful views, amazing touches-Ian leaving a bottle of wine, making homemade bread and croissants, bringing one of the dogs down to say hi. So relaxing and beautiful, would have happily stayed a week if had more time! Love the hot tub and the outdoor shower. The glamping yurt was very warm and spacious. I’ll be back!
Fabulous place to enjoy the peace of nature with delicious additions.
9.0This is a unique property offering so many activities or just a place to relax and enjoy the special nature that the owners are endeavouring to restore. Delicious homemade breakfast and the kitchen was so well set up. The host was very generous and we enjoyed some local wine, fire in our room and the hot tub.
− The facilities are a bit tired but clean enough and didn’t affect our enjoyment.
A great stay!
