Very good, would not hesitate to return here again.

Quiet country location, yet still handy for the town. Lovely accommodation very clean and nicely furnished. Any problems were quickly dealt with in a friendly manner.

More towels would have been handy.

The best cottage we have ever stayed in!

The cottage was beautifully modern, yet with all the traditional features. It was very well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Tommy is an excellent host, we will definitely be back. The McAdam/Boltons

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. A perfect cottage for an Ireland getaway!

It was wonderful little cottage perfect for my friends and I. About a 5-10 minute walk from the town proper. The owner was kind but also hands off and left us to our own devices unless we reached out to him. He included a number of maps and flyers to give great places to visit.

Some of the bathroom sinks were a bit too powerful in my opinion. And the wifi did not extend throughout the whole building. However neither were particularly big of a deal.

We absolutely loved it! Tommy was a great host who welcomed us with a little tour of the house and some historical details about Castleblayney. We had the cutest neighbors (cows) and a nice view from every room. Since the Haggard is located pretty much in the middle between Belfast and Dublin (both within a 1.5 hr radius by car) there was a lot to discover. We got to enjoy woods, fields, historical sites and the coast all within a few days. We absolutely recommend this accommodation for families or any other group of up to 6 people, since there is plenty of space (3 bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom) and lots of adventures waiting!

Beautiful, clean, spacious, peaceful and well equipped cottage that would be hard to surpass.

Tommy was an exceptiontional Host. He met us at the property and ran me into the local town to shop for provisions (as we disdn't have ouw own transport). He even offered to return later so we could visit the local town for dinner and gave advise on where to go.

The cottage is fairly remote (if you don't have your own transport). However, the bonus is that it is very private and peaceful. Really; nothing to dislike!

We were part of a larger group over to celebrate a 90th birthday. 6 of us stayed in the house. It was a great place to s

Spacious and modern. Spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable. There is a utility room with everything you need, and big beautiful open plan lounge, kitchen/dining area that is bright and welcoming. The whole house has a lovely relaxed vibe and the decor is perfect. There is also a small courtyard with bistro set for sitting out with a coffee or book. And it’s so quiet! I could easily have stayed longer. We had a car that made getting to shops etc easy, and if you enjoy walking, it’s a pleasant walk into the town. I would def recommend a car if anyone has difficulties with walking.

Couldn’t fault this property.
