10.0Maria seems to understand exactly what is needed to ensure you feel like you are staying in a home away from home. We met on arrival and when we were leaving. She is unobtrusive, friendly and the perfect kind of host. The flat was immaculately clean. It is stylish, coordinated, and very well equipped. There are plenty of lamps dotted about. Comfy seating and enough, for 2 adults and 2 tall teens, (the WiFi is consistent too). If you have younger kiddies, Maria has thoughtfully provided a selection of toys and stationery to keep them occupied, and also some family board games. The location is perfect, the town centre has a stunning white Church at the centre, surrounded by shops and bars/restaurants. Although we didn't expect to explore the local area as much. Maria suggested hiring bikes locally, which we did for a day, our e-bikes were perfect for the four of us for a few hours of cycling around the local lake, through the nature reserve and to the absolutely stunning beaches that are very near by. It is very easy to find your way around as there is a numbered cycle route (which doesn't run sequentially btw, but didn't that detract from the ride) Also, and if you're from the UK this will be very welcome, cyclists have their very own paths, so it's super safe for your little ones. We highly recommend staying in Noordwijkerhout at the Vlasoven loft.
