Great rainforest retreat
9.0The seclusion and peaceful setting surrounded by rainforest. The small house was easy to access, comfortable and relaxing. Cooking facilities were adequate and the esky provided with ice proved adequate for our three day stay. Cassowaries walking across in front of the house proved a bonus.
Little piece of paradise in the Daintree
10.0We loved everything about the house, so much space, well equipped, and that outdoor area is just amazing. We had the most amazing experience one afternoon when sitting on the deck when 2 cassowaries emerged from the forest right next to us and casually walked across the property. We also loved watching the antics of the 2 curlews who were always running around the place. The house is close to all the main attractions but is isolated enough to be quiet and peaceful, and it's only a 4 minute drive to a small shop and coffee place.

9.0beautiful location with a ( kind of creepy) jungle track down to a private beach.
− the place would be happy about an upgrade- no wifi although announced and maybe a bit pricey for the more outbakish experience ( which personally i love). also when staying in a flat for only 2 nights, it’s great to have more basics in the kitchen such as spices oil vinegar…
