Our stay here was one of the absolute highlights of our Iceland Ring Road trip. From the moment we arrived, Disa made us feel genuinely welcome. The accommodation was cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from fresh farm eggs and tomatoes to rice, baked beans, tea, coffee, and cooking essentials. It felt less like a rental and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. If you’re driving Iceland’s Ring Road and are looking for more than just a place to sleep, this is the perfect stop. It’s a chance to slow down, experience authentic Icelandic farm life, and create memories that will stay with you long after your trip ends.

The cabin is very well located, close to route 1 and in a beautiful setting with horses nearby. Everything inside the cabin was perfect and comfortable. The kitchenette offers the possibility of cooking. The cabin was very clean and warm. The view from the cabin was fantastic and the location of the cabin was private. The host was very responsive and left us some eggs and tomatoes in the cabin. This gesture was well appreciated. All in all, we had a great stay at this guesthouse.

Oh my god, all was so good, this place is such a hidden gem, so peacefull. Super comfy, you have all you need, nobody bothers you, only cute animals around :) Also check out was at 12, which was great as we arrive very late night before. If I could, I would stay here for at least 3 nights
