The view from the balcony is exceptionally fantastic, we have the view of Oia village on the left and view of the Oia castle on the right. We can enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The villa locates on the nearly top position of Oia, so it is a few steps to the villa, without any exhausting climb. The checkin and comminucation before checkin are wonderful via whatsapp, Yiannis and Paz have done very great job to help us. Our baggage from Athens arrived late, and Paz helped a lot on the communication to retrieve it from the airline. Breakfast was decend but the view during our breakfast time is very memorable. Please be noted that the villa comprises of 2 floors, and we stayed in the room on the top floor with outdoor jacuzzi. So I have no information about the room on the lower floor.

− There was a huge problem on the water supply, we stayed 2 nights and the water supply was in shortage since 11 pm of the first night, so I could not take any shower until next morning, then the water supply was in shortage again throughout our stay! Yiannis came to help us but the result was very temporary. We were informed that it is the problem from the water supply authority of the island, with limited supply to meet the huge demand during early summer. We really apprecited Yiannis help and really understand that this problem is out of their control. But this problem is very critical and every touriss coming here need to be awared.

The location was absolutely perfect! The view of Oia looked like a post card. Its best for big families since there is also a kitchen and the jacuzzi upstairs was our favorite part. We also had some requests and Paz and Yanni helped us right away. Yanni also gave us the best recommendations in the island and was pleasant to talk to. We hope we can come back again. We highly recommend Platis!

− I think the cleaning needs improvement. There were ants in the bathroom.

Only location

− I paid €590 for one night at this hotel, and it was a complete disappointment. When I arrived, I found out the outdoor hot tub didn’t work and there was no running water in the room. The hotel blamed a local water outage—but nearby hotels had no problem supplying water and outdoor tub because they had their own water tanks. Worst of all, the hotel never warned me in advance. I only found out after checking in and asking why there was no water. They admitted they didn’t tell guests ahead of time because they “didn’t want to scare them.” That’s not just bad service—that’s intentional deception. For a price three times higher than nearby hotels, I expected much more. After checking reviews, I saw others had the same experience. Don’t be fooled—what you see is not what you get.

Incredible views, great location, great balconies, nice showers. Lots of stairs for the downstairs unit, which was huge.

− Upstairs unit a bit small and could use a few chairs. Fans would be good.
