We had a lovely holiday, there were lots of good restaurants nearby and all welcomed the children

Excellent location, beaches and shops are easily walkable. The villa was spacious and comfortable and catered for all our needs. The owners were very helpful, giving us an early arrival time to help accomodate the needs of our two young grandchildren.

Lovely spacious villa. Excellent location,shops,bars, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. Owner most helpful and answered all our questions. Would definitely return.

Nice, spacious house to relax for larger families

It’s a really nice house, spacious, clean pool of a good size, nice rooftop terrace, garden with lots of shade. It has some good kitchen appliances (fridge, oven, induction stove), a nice bbq. Good sized bedrooms, with comfortable beds. It’s at walking distance of Carvoeiro centre. The closest nice beach is 15 to 20 minutes walk.

− The house lacks some maintenance. The airco in the living room didn’t work and was replaced on the day we left, but why not a week earlier, upon our arrival, when I indicated it was broken (it was already a known issue by the owner). So I was disappointed about that. Besides that, not all showers in the bathroom drain equally well, you end up standing in a puddle of water. The kitchen needs some repair as well with a leaking tap and doors of cabinets that are crooked, but these are minor things. All in all a nice place to stay, but with a few amendments it would be a great place to stay.

Fantastisk luksus for hele familien

Nydelig villa i behagelig område med gangavstand (15min) til Carvoeiro Sentrum og strender. Vi hadde det helt fantastisk her! Grunnen til at vi reiser er for å feire moren min sin 70-årsdag. Da jeg fortalte dette til verten, satt Fabio og crewet hans frem en flaske champagne og noen portugisiske småkaker til oss. Moren min ble så glad at hun begynte å gråte! Tusen takk!

− Tittelen «on the Beach» er misvisende. Det tar 15 min å gå til nærmeste gode strand. Det gikk helt fint, men viktig å vite om man tror man bor på stranden. Det var veldig varmt denne uken, så vi hadde hatt behov for flere parasoller på takterrassen og i bakgården.

Fab property in great location but needs some upgrades especially air con and shade near pool particularly during a heat

Property was very spacious and close to main area in Carvoeiro which was all just a walk away, sea views from the property were stunning

− Air con in main sitting area didn’t work properly leaving it as the hottest room in the villa, property is about 10/15 minutes walk from beach so not exactly ‘villa on the beach’, no shaded area near pool, property needs some general upgrades.

A lovely stay in Carvoeiro

The villa was very large with 5 bedrooms. We only needed 4 rooms as we were a small group. Only one bedroom was a double but my husband and I actually used a twin room and pushed the beds together to make a bigger bed. There was a very large living room and a good sized kitchen. The villa was so large you felt you could have your own space and not be on top of each other all the time. There were 4 bathrooms and they all had a hairdryer. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was nice and the roof terrace area with beds were comfy. I loved being at treetop level amongst the birds and there was a view of the sea too. I also enjoyed sitting out in the garden and we had a bbq one evening. The location was great and we could walk to town and the boardwalk and nearby Centeanes beach very easily.

− If I had to say one thing I think that maybe it could do with a little refresh to really be a luxury villa. It was perfect for us so this is not a complaint at all but it could do with a bit of tlc in parts.
