Great location, friendly staff and nice rooms. A bit rough around the edges but a nice vibe.
7.0Great location, friendly staff and nice restaurant. We could catch a wave from the point through kiddies section all the way to the concrete jetty joined to the hotel.
− Our bathroom had significant mould on the silicone around the base of the shower recess. Fixing this would make a good stay better.

8.0I loved my stay at the Raffiel Nias. My ocean-view apartment had an incredible panoramic view of Lagundri Bay and the surf break, and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the pool and outdoor terrace, and the food was excellent. Alvin and all the staff are wonderful.
− The shower screen in the bathroom needs a clean, and I had to remove the mothballs in the bathroom. They made the entire apartment smell very strongly of naphthalene, which gave me a headache on the first night. These should not be used in open spaces. Once I took them away, the smell disappeared.
