Would look for a place with air con in the same location next time.
9.0The property had everything we needed to be very comfortable with 2 kids and 2 adults. We made a few meals and had everything required to cook, eat and tidy up afterwards. Great instructions to access the apartment. The place was very clean. The location is excellent.
− The apartment got very hot. Only 2 fans were provided so you needed to move them around depending on the room you were in. During the day we closed the outside shutters and windows to block out the sun so keep the apartment cool and had to used the lights to see and at about 7pm we opened everything up to get a cool breeze through which did cool everything down enough to sleep at night with all the windows and shutters open. In summer air con is required.
Perfect spot to stay in Varenna within walking distance to train, ferry, market, and main sights.
10.0It was a nice spacious apartment in a great location, close to the trains and ferry. A man in the building noticed we were having trouble opening the door and was nice enough to help us. We even had a partial lake view and little balcony.
− It was a little tricky using all the keys.
Excellent Central location
8.0Very central location. 5 minutes walk to the harbour and same to the train station. Lovely view from the apartment of the lake
− No air-conditioning but large fan's were supplied. Most place's in varenna don't have air-conditioning. You need to use the window shutters to keep the apartment nice and cool. We opened the windows every evening and the cool air from the lake was so refreshing.

7.0location - very close to everything, nice views
− The apartment has potential, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The kitchen faucet was difficult to operate, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower area, and the toilet seat was loose. Addressing these issues would help make the stay more comfortable for future guests.
