Great value, out of the way, car definitely needed due to location.
7.0Nice and quiet and quaint, very good value and something different. Location was peaceful. Very good communication and instructions when checking in. Facilities quite nice too.
− Only one minor thing, there wasn’t much sound proofing so I was woken up to slamming doors from other people staying there.

3.0The location itself is convenient and lovely. The owner was contactable when required, and was genuinely nice.
− I want to preface this by saying that I only believe a few things could have been better, but overall it wasnt a bad experience. There was no bathmat or hand towels provided, and the towels that were provided for use, were thin and small (child sized) so made drying during winter a less than fun experience. Unfortunately after a shower this caused the floor to be quite wet so we resorted to using a pillowcase on the floor. Luna, who is a free ranging dog on the property (she is absolutely lovely, she greeted us so kindly, I will not fault her there at all) unfortunately was barking quite a lot through the night and no one was there to put her away or settle her. Guests including us, were trying, but to no avail. We absolutely understand shes just protecting the property but when its late at night and you're trying to sleep and shes barking for hours, this isn't ideal. A continental breakfast was supposed to be included with our booking, but there was nothing on site, nothing was provided. Additionally other guests were slamming doors quite frequently and loudly, I feel signage or something should be put up to remind others that it is infact a shared space, and they should be considerate of others around them. This includes not locking the main door to allow easy entry for others. I know this isnt per say an owner issue, but perhaps the reminders for guests could be helpful.
