1.0− Made the booking in advance, was given confirmation from the host, but was turned away from the accommodation by the host and told they are no longer working with booking.com and all their rooms were already booked. I had to practically find a new place late in the evening... A very bad experience for me and my family.

7.0Rooms very clean & tidy in the whole (with exception below) & lovely location. While the host doesn't anticipate guests' needs, he was helpful when I asked for help. Spacious kitchen & shared bathroom. bed was reasonably comfortable. I didn't mind that he asked for cash payment up front because maybe some guests may need to get cash to pay.
− Host, I think does this just for the money. I think he's a nice person but not a people person and this affected his attention to certain aspects.. No 1.Bedroom No sheets provided. (So used doona on mattress protector) Perhaps just forgotten but Small desk lamp on a stool near window (& only PowerPoints in room) on opposite side of room from bed. No 2. Kitchen issues: neither microwave or gas stove connected. (He asked me which would you like to use, as if one would be enough.) He brought up a gas bottle & I used it. Stove top not clean but obviously hadn't been used recently (see previous point). Very few utensils. This all contrasted with the next place I stayed, near another monastery, which was cheaper, and provided all the things that were missing here.
