A very mediocre experience, shame really, they could have made the stay so much better…
7.0The rooms are clean and very well presented, the furniture was of excellent quality.
− I wouldn’t stay there again. No waste bin in the room, so nowhere to put your rubbish, used teabags etc. there is NO window in the room, if you suffer from claustrophobia, the room is NOT for you. The step down from the shower cubicle is a good 12 inches high and no grab handle, if you slipped or lost your balance, you’d automatically grab the glass shower door and/or the glass side and pull the thing on top of you, Mr Hotel owner would get very annoyed, especially as there is a notice saying you break it, you pay or replace it……..really, somehow I don’t think so. There’s something I’ve never experienced before, an Italian restaurant with hotel rooms, but there’s no enticing smell of good homemade Italian cooking, hmmmmmm wonder why!!! I arrived albeit early, pulled on the car park and immediately told to move my car and ‘you can’t park here’ shouted across the car park, not, hello can I help you, or are you a guest, just you can’t park here. Having established I could park there he then proceeded to guide me in to a vacant parking space, because ‘you can’t take up 2 parking spaces or you’ll have to pay £7.50 a day for the second parking space. The irony is, both his car and another car belonging to a member of staff were parked across two spaces at a very jaunty angle lol

The hotel was near the centre of Norwich, walkable and near the bus station. We were able
9.0The room was lovely, the breakfast was good, the staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable and couldn’t fault the cleanliness. We also enjoyed some evening meals at the hotel.
− Unfortunately the weather was extremely hot and although there was a fan in the room, it was difficult to sleep. I’m sure any other time this would not have been a problem.
