− No parking except on a side street but it wasn't a problem, really. Room hot, but fan provided.

4.0Lovely building, in centre of town
− lots of things were poor. The shower didn't work and didn't drain properly. Water spat out of the tap and only hot water, no cold. Room was hot and needed the fan on all night which was noisy. 40 narrow steps to the room and no lift or help from staff with bags. Car parking was limited and not close to the hotel. Breakfast was average and the regular coffee awful. Not enough staff to cope.
Staff were brilliant. Rooms are spacious but It’s an old building so remember that when you book
8.0Location was good for what I needed. Staff were brilliant and personable. Rooms are a very good size. The food we had was nice and good portion size too.

7.0Breakfast was fine if a little limited. Good location and friendly/helpful staff
− We had a superior room which was nice but being at the top of the hotel in this heat was extremely uncomfortable. There was a fan but it needs to be much more powerful it just didn't do the job in this heat. It would make us choose somewhere else if we visited the area again in the summer.
