The owners are lovely, friendly and so helpful! The room is comfortable. The food is plentiful and very tasty. There is a small garden which is perfect for relaxing after the gorilla trekking. Andrew (the son of the owners) can help organise many different activities. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Best guest house in Uganda

My best guest house in Uganda! Esther and Gideon, the owners, know how to lead a guest house! They are so welcoming and nice, you feel at home immediately! The breakfast with omlette, pancakes, sweet potatoes and fruits was so delicious and big. Esther really cared for me! And one evening I was invited for dinner - fresh Tilapia from lake Victoria and many side dishes!  I liked the cozy room with hot shower, comfortable mattress, a brand new mosquito net, big terrace and a cute cat outside in a quiet neighbourhood. Esther, Gideon and their son Andrew helped me with everything you need: Gorilla permit, boat tour on lake Mutanda, bicycle, taxis to the NP, information about restaurants, markets and Andrew even would lend me money, when the NP could not process my credit card for payment. It was a wonderful stay, home away from home. Thank you so much! So sad to leave! But I will come back!

The room was clean and tidy! The host family made me feel right at home, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I even asked them to make me a homemade dinner, and it was amazing! The family was so welcoming and hospitable that I had a wonderful time there.

Очень комфортно, чисто, просто идеально! Но самое важное это хозяева этого потрясающего места. Очень добрые, душевные, дружелюбные, с открытым сердцем. Ужин был потрясающим, невероятно вкусно, много еды. Завтрак тоже выше всех похвал. Это самое лучшее место в Уганде, где я ела. Очень вкусно и по-домашнему, с любовью.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, thanks a lot to Andrew and his parents - one of the nicest stays we had in five weeks in Uganda. Good breakfast, nice and calm rooms and even a transfer to the Rwanda border for a better fare then a special hire. Next time we will stay longer for sure!
