A very small outdated motel room. Decor old, dark, thin walls.
5.0Very small rooms. No air conditioning. No refrigerator. Ice across the street. Expected more for the steep price!

Wonderful but maybe too expensive for a repeat stay.
8.0The chairs in the river are really fantastic! Pretty little porch with our room with glider and table and parking right outside!

Overall we had a nice stay.
8.0I loved being able to sit in the Big Sur river in the river chairs. I also enjoyed being able to eat dinner and breakfast at the restaurant onsite.
− The restaurant was expensive. We asked our waiter for the 10% discount for people staying at the hotel. We did not get the 10% discount on our bill. Lastly, the window coverings in our room did not fully cover the windows. That was very disappointing!
Decent won’t stay again

− The price of the room was not worth it. The room was super small. It didn’t show that in the pictures. It wasn’t worth the price.
Expensive but glad I went
7.0Beautiful landscaped, close to river, large grass area, good amenities and helpful staff.
− The room was dark and carpet needs replacing. Would have liked if they lit the fire pit.
Bucket List Stay
10.0Location Location Location! ! we were driving highway 1 from San Jose to Santa Barbara, and this was a dream stop for several years but PCH was always closed south of here.. Relaxing vibe with chairs in the river. Excellent food!!
