Always a Great Stay
9.0We love staying here once a year. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms have high ceilings, comfortable beds and traditional furniture that fits the Victorian theme. There are in-room coffee makers and small snacks with a fridge. When you check out, don’t forget to open the front gate and then drop the keys in the mailbox through the fence once and only once you have first let yourself outside.
− The place is a little hard to find. The streets are slightly angled away from Gordon Highway, and you have to look for a small, thin white sign that points in the direction of the Fox’s Lair, the pub in the basement. It would be nice if the sign had a light to see it more easily at night.
