10.0Clean, tidy, beautiful rooms, quiet, friendly and helpful staff.
Th Pig Inn - Highly Recommend
10.0The Pig Inn is wonderful. The Staff, the food, the quiet location just what was needed after a long day travelling and working.
− Really struggling to be honest. The room was lovely, obviously recently refurbished to a high standard. To make it a 10 out of 10, I would say invest in high quality mattresses. The rest of the facility right out to the garden dining area etc are excellent.
Lovely, great staff, lovely building, will definitely stay here again when travelling in the area
9.0The staff were great, very helpful and friendly and fun. The setting is lovely, overlooking fields to the side and rear, it's the ideal spot to enjoy a quiet drink. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked, good portion size. Likewise, the evening meal was really good too. The room was a nice size and well equipped.
− Not much that could have been done about this as I stayed during the record breaking heatwave. The room was very warm. There was a fan so I had a some breeze. Like I say, it was 38 degrees and this is an old building (though beautifully decorated and furnished), so I guess air-conditioning is both expensive and potentially a planning issue.
Brilliant staff great rooms and a beautiful location
10.0Very well kept. Clean tidy lovely rooms and decor.
− Loved the staff and how helpful. Very accommodating.
Love it here, food great, be good if someone was onsite for things like the fire alarm.
9.0This is a lovely hotel, I have stayed a few times and always really enjoy it.
− The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, I was in a top eves room, which was concerning, there was no staff onsite at all, it took some time to reach a member of staff, they then arrived by car and turned it off and said it would have been a bug, going by the signage suggesting not to call the fire brigade unless you can actually see the fire, seems it might be an ongoing issue that needs looking into and of course would have been resolved a lot quicker if someone was onsite It was chilly and a lot of older people were in the car park for a long time.
A lovely interesting pub with a good restaurant.
10.0Good breakfast with a nice and interesting variety of choice. Good table service.
− The music was too loud, I don't think music is necessary at breakfast, the waiter did turn it down for us though. I'd have like more choice of breakfast cereals, nuts, seeds, fruits etc, a buffet style.
