The location was good as my sister lives on broadway dunscroft the lady behind the bar was very nice room was fine we are planning to use this accommodation on a regular basis to visit our sister but the rooms would need to be warmer

− There was no heating in room radiators was freezing it didn't come on the whole time we was there we was told there would be breakfast continental but there was nothing at all the fridge was open and empty we are going to book this accommodation every few weeks but the room needs to be warmer

Nice old pub, very easy & convenient to check in and out. Clean, comfortable room & bed. Lady in charge was very pleasant and friendly. They warned of possible noise from music downstairs, wasn’t too intrusive, but they did have earplugs available.

− No tea / coffee making facility - admittedly I didn’t ask so don’t know if it was available on request.

Location

− No tea &coffee no bin for rubbish no heating in the morning.more expensive the travel lodge and you get what you pay for. Re bins and tea and coffee.

When we booked we thought we had booked B&B as we had looked at reviews which said it was a continental breakfast, only to find no breakfast

− We checked in around 9.40, we are an old couple and were attending a funeral the next day. We wanted a hot drink and watch a little tv before retiring for the night, we had no wardrobe or hangers to hang our clothes, we had to put them on a filthy chair. No remote, were told it was £5 for it, she let us have one as I didn’t have my purse with me. We had to access our room via a fire escape, this wasn’t easy for people with mobility issues. We had no kettle for a drink, no glasses for water to take our medication with. Our room was freezing no extra bedding, we even put our coats over us for warmth. Unfortunately we had to endure another night until we could go and stay with family. If it hadn’t been we were going to a funeral we would have gone home the next morning.
