9.0Clean room with little extras( tot of whiskey!). Very friendly and helpful staff.
− A little noisy. But we were on the main road and it did not spoil our stay.

8.0Lovely room well equipped with everything needed for a few nights.
− Can be loud outside the pub!
Pleasant centrally located hotel
7.0The room was nice and clean. Location close to the centre of Galashiels with overnight parking on the adjacent street
− We had some issues with the shower valve as we couldn't control the water temperature. However this will presumably be repaired but just frustrating as only staying one night.

7.0The room was not like the picture.Alot smaller, but good decor and good sized bathroom. We overlooked the street and outside bar area which made it very noisy
− The check in staff are also on the bar and were distracted. No dinners on a Sunday and Monday and so we found a friendly Italian place across the street. Also no breakfasts but a good place around corner but not open Tuesday. Melrose village would be a better place to stay.
Overall could not fault the place or the staff
8.0The location was very central to the town . The food was excellent at the venue we would recommend The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
− A fridge in the room would have been very useful and maybe a fan . I understand that the weather is not in their control, but the room was extremely warm and unfortunately you could not open the windows sufficiently to allow a decent breeze in.
